Critical Diversity Blog of the University of the Arts Berlin

The Critical Diversity blog focuses on Diversity Studies, Intersectional Perspectives in Film, Art and Media in order to reflect and develop critical thinking of our own institutional practices and hierarchies.

On the Critical Diversity Blog we publish a selection of essays and art works as the output of seminars at UdK Berlin in the realm of diversity studies and intersectional perspectives. The Blog is also a place for discussions on the issue of diversity and meant to be a safer space for voices that are discriminated against and gives marginalised students the opportunity to express their experiences on discrimination artistically. They organize their work in bi-weekly meetings; they work on interviews and podcasts with diversity activists and diversity scholars within media and art in the context of art schools.
